The shelf life for Lucira COVID-19 Test Kits has been extended to 18 months. For COVID-19 tests, manufacturers are required to label products based on real-time stability studies. As of June 15th, 2022, Lucia Health completed the real-time stability testing to support an 18-month shelf life.
The expiration date on the kit box label for test kits in this shipment have been updated to reflect the 18-month shelf life. Pouched items enclosed within each test kit may have an expiration date that is earlier than the date on the updated kit box label. However, the expiration date of these pouched items now coincides with the date on kit box label.
